Was happy to see the update. But the Logitech controller still is not working (configuration of steering axes is broken)

Unable to skip Intros and Ads!! This has been better before (in older versions before 1.1.5 you just tapped the space bar), now you can’t skip the intro vids and Ads, so it takes a lot of time, MINUTES !! to get playing. This is not good at all!

I’ve alwasy loved playing Flatout. This is the third version of this game I’ve bought. But my dissapointment about the exclusion of the Logitech Momo is HUGE! Please do something about it!

I was skeptical when I first saw the pricetag and the screenshots but boy am I glad I purchased this game. Graphics are great, races are fast, songs are cool and the mini games are really fun. It runs beautifully on a 13" MacBook Pro with the Nvidia 320m graphics chip. I must say this is the very first time I ever played a game of this quality at this performance rate on a baseline machine. Hope well see more and more games like this one on the Mac App Store. Congratulations to the developers. Yes, I would buy a third Flatout game in a heartbeat.

FlatOut2 is an old game. You can play FlatOut 3 since 2008... Check the system requirement : you can run this app on «every» Mac. Sometime is good to be old! FlatOut2 is still a very fun game, and - most of all - its only 10$.

This game is amazing in every way possible, from the racing to the stunts to the funny crashes and wipeouts. The multiplayer is amazing, but the graphics could be improved. One thing: there should be a way to get back to the rendering options screen.

This maybe an older version (can we get version 3?) but its very adictive! I really enjoy this game. For 10 bucks what can you say, cheap entertainment. I must also say that I do have it out for that little red car, love the crashes/wipeouts. Once you understand the keyboard functions, buying the right car/truck and buy extras for each vehicle it really turns into a ton of fun for 10 BUCKS! I did try running on an old intel core duo Macbook, forget Im currently running on a iMac 27" i7 with 16 GB very smooth, no issues.

The demo of this game has resided on my last 3 macs, been dieing to get a full version but was difficult through the vendors previous portal. Thank you App Store. It is old (almost a classic) but was way ahead of the curve when it originally hit the mac scene and the graphics and physics are perfectly acceptable even now. Lets face it the gameplay is what matters and that part is pure adreneline pumping madness. In car view on a 27" iMac is insanity. Not much on the market can compete for the level of entertainment Flatout2 provides - especially at the price!

its an exciting game but it doesnt work very in my late 2010 macbook air with os x lion. the music and sound stop during the race. if this bug fix, i will rate it 5 stars

Its fast, chaotic, arcade racing. Not quite on par with the Burnout series, but youll be hard pressed to find better for the Mac.

I just paid $10 for a game that keeps crashing on startup…. for anyone reading this... dont buy the game until this is fixed. This is absolute BULL$%#&

I can no longer run this game after the latest update. Crashes on startup every time. Dont buy it. When it worked, it was great. But dont waste your money until they fix it.

I love that the app store has these games because they’re hard to find otherwise. For the price, its pretty good but there is one error that will drive you nuts: while using nitro and after using it, your steering stops working, completely. Basically you just have to make sure that you’re pointed where you want to go when you hit the nitro and then to take your finger off the accelorator after nitro which seems to allow you to steer. Other than that you have all the other little things, not errors, just part of a good arcade game to look forward to like physics that make no sense, a slight control delay and the game itself cheating. Good times.

To fix the problem of not being able to turn while using nitro: Go to game controls and pick a different key for nitro. The bug is that it doesn’t work with the control key. A-Z work fine. Enjoy

I bought this with some hesitation but its been a great game!!! The graphics are pretty good, the gameplay is intense, and I’ve had more fun with this game than some that cost 10x as much. I run it on a mac pro with 10.9.5 and am having a ball. The first time I got thrown out the windshield, then run over, then had a sign fall on me, then had a car land on top of the sign we were laughing so hard we had tears running down our faces…have spent hours on here with my friends swapping out turns to drive, awesome game for the price. Be neat if you could add in “skins" for the cars, Buick GSX or hemi Cuda anyone?? :)
