MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2014) 2.5 GHz Intel Core i7 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M 2048 MB here are my Macs specs. The game totally freezes in the Intro after the recent March 23rd 2015 update that was supposed to make the game better for new Macs. It makes my whole laptop crash !!! :( PLEASE FIX IT !!!!!

This WAS my favourite racing game on any platform, but new update freezes when scanning through intro. or changing settings. Also any previous progress will be lost when installing new update. Wait for fixes before installing this “update”!

it worked before the update now it crashes my macbook air completely . (If this is fixed i will give 5 stares)

After the March 23rd, 2015 update to 1.1.1, the game now crashes on or before the Nvidia intro. Before the update, it would ocassionally crash because of a Microsoft Runtime error. This makes the game completly unplayable. If you have a backup of this game, I would suggest restoring it to play it again, or just wait and see if the next update will fix it. For now, stick with the previous version.

when the macbook retina use hi dpi mode on maximum, the actual resolution in game is impossible to change please fix that!!!

There is a sound problem. Accures when taking a first ride so that sound disappears completely during the ride. Some sound remain in the menu but do not reappear on the next tracks. Only game restart helps till it disappears again. We need a hot fix!!!

The game is great, extremely funny and the new 1.1.5 finally solve the crash issues. I have to mention that the loader is now buggy (it doesn’t remember the screen resolution, Italian language doesn’t work anymore…) but anyway this game at this price is a bargain. Playing in LAN is also very funny but sometimes it doesn’t work. Maybe when using different version of the game or playing between different platforms (windows/mac). PS: if you loose your career after an upgrade open a Terminal and do: cp ~/Library/Containers/com.vpltd.FlatOut2/Data/Library/Application Support/Flat Out 2/SavedGames/player*.sav ~/Library/Containers/com.vpltd.FlatOut2/Data/Library/Application Support/com.vpltd.FlatOut2/SavedGames/

I love the game, but all the cars have this terrible damage model where when you hit anything and spikes fly out with various textures. I seem to be the only one with this problem.

This game is seriously one of the most entertaining games I have played. It does require a great deal of skill but it is not overly hard, so you dont get so frustrated that you will want to throw your computer accross the room. The speed of the game is flawless. The graphics are outstanding. The music goes along terrificly with the game, and the stunts are very very fun! The only problem with this game is I have a glitch to where the cars will have parts spewing out of them making them look like some sort of porcupine. It is really a bummer to because it blocks the vision and I need to change the camer angles when this happens. I have been looking everyday for an update to try and fix this problem but no update for the past couple of months. Ah well it wont stop me from playing it but please UPDATE SOON!!!!

Its a fun game, when it works. I constantly crashes for me. Additionally, the game is now malfunctioning so bad that the vehicle will immediately turn right. So its not great.

I have this this game on my ps2 it is even better on mac! if you love destruction play this game!

great game but I CANT FIX THE GRAPHICS SETTINGS. The first time you download the game it gives you a screen where you select the different display options. I accidently let it go through with 4:3 ration. Its never shown that screen again and theres no way to fix it. AUGH. I even deleted the game and redownloaded it.

A great game:) So happy that i can play it anywhere without having to lug a mouse along. No lag, great graphics, great effects, huge vehicle selection, and the car actually takes damage:D just got me back into racing games! (havent been since Test Drive 5 on the PS1).

The game wont even download.
