only problem is my volume on my macbook starts to make a weird sound i will rate this 5 stars if they fix this

i owe a mini mac first gen and far out of date. when i bought this game the downloading took forever but once i finally had it it worked great! the graphics look just like it would be on a ps2 too. since my computer wasnt fully up to date to handle this game i put graphics on low and the distance to 30% and it works just fine. a little lagging but i cant complain. if you have any model computer higher than mine than its totally worth the money and risk

The game is amazing! i highly reccommend it, but i upgraded to lion, and the textures on the car fly around and block everything on the screen. you cant play the game because you cant see anything. this desperately needs a patch to fix the texture issues. please

Cars dont render correctly and look like puffer fish with graphics all messed up. If you are running LION, hold off until they can update this version to work correctly.

i used to love playing this on my ps2 but it was hard to control.i feel as if i have more control with my keyboard and i feel that the graphics are better on a mac to. overalll i love the game but it crashes on me sometimes and i wish it woundent.plz fix the crashing but its still 5 stars! also if u can plz make flatout ultimate carnage for the mac too!

….or at least the best that Ive tried…...I was looking for a great racing game for my MacBook Pro, already having Asphault 6 and Real Racing and not being satisfied, then I saw Flatout 2 under the Simulation category (why in the world isnt it under Racing Games??) and had to get it. Sure, its an old game and one that wasnt originally made for a computer, but I figured if it was anything like its old counterpart it would be a steal for the price. I was thrilled to see the same graphics (still great quality) and the same amount of content (a TON) as the original release. If youre a racing game fan, or a fan of the original, you will not be let down. There is one thing though that bothered me, something that I found completely unacceptable. I am running Lion and while my Mac exceeds all of the requirements, it does glitch here and there. Im not sure if this is a Lion issue or something else but Ive seen others post complaints of having similar problems when running this with Lion; it does run and still is very playable, but the glitches take some of the fun out of the game. Other then that this is a perfect racing game and a true FULL game but PLEASE UPDATE FOR LION!

Wont tell much. Just buy and enjoy. It worth that.

What makes this so annoying is that this game has so much potential. But it is unplayable. Their is a serious bug causing the graphics to scatter huge black lines and boxes all over the place,. I tried to switch to the lowest setting but it made little difference. Fix this please, and the ratinng should immediately improve.

i bought this game and when i run the race i cant see anything because i have textures issue and its not playable!! i have brand new macbook pro retina and i just through out 10$

Bought earlier version. Loved it!!! Updated to Mountain Lion, everything worked fine. Installed the upgrade for FlatOut 2 (1.0.4) and my MOMO wheel and pedals no longer work. Basically unusable...

The recent update ruined just everything in Mountain Lion. The game either doesnt start at all or crashes after some time. The saved games are also lost. Thats no fun!

Latest update turned the game slower; audio started cutting out; removed all existing profiles; you cant move left/right during nitro anymore. Down the line, turned the app unusable

All previous data is now gone since latest update for Mountain Lion. PLEASE FIX THIS! Game no longer runs on Lion with routine fatal error notices. All previous progress is gone! This WAS one of my favorite games.

i had flatout 3 on steam before i bought this macbook pro. i really loved this game, but it wont run due to some overlap issue on the new update. if they fix the game i will come back and rate it 5 stars because i love it! so apple. please fix the game. thanks! :)

This update has completely destroyed the game. This was a really good game, now it locks up or wont start or may run just a few minutes. If this problem cannot be fixed soon I think that all purchasers of the game should have their money for the game refunded.

After downloading the most recent update, ALL of my progress has disappeared. MILLIONS of dollars I had saved up by winning races, and its all lost. The controls dont work well and the car doesnt respond to the steering most of the time. This game is officially ruined and I dont feel like trying to regain all my progress. Worthless. Fix it or give me my $10 back. Seriously, its ruined now.

DO NO UPDATE! I updated this and all progress that I had made was deleted. Good one virtual Programming. Think next time.

the game seems to work better what i hate about this game are: 1- when i hit the nitro button the steering stops working at times 2- whenever i install an update my current game progress is lost and there is no way that i know of to retrieve it. I rate it as a two (2) bacause i hate having to play to regain the levels that i already achieved and i hate being in a derby using my nos and then i am crushed by my opponents because i can no longer steer the truck. extremely exciting game but annoying bugs

The newest version wont update on my 2012 white Macbook.
